Day 1: Transfer From Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park And Do An Afternoon Game Drive

Meet your safari guide at your place of stay in Arusha after breakfast for short safari briefing and then embark on the drive to Lake Manyara National Park 130km about 2 ½ hours’ drive.

The drive will take you through the scenic landscapes including the rural setting of Tanzania before arriving in Lake Manyara National Park in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, you proceed to the expanse but shallow Lake Manyara with its famous Soda composition and the lake covers 2/3 of the park landscape on the floor of the East African rift valley.

The diverse park landscapes attract counts of elephant populations, the famous tree climbing lions along with flocks of flamingos that feed on the lake’s Algae. Retire for relaxation, dinner and overnight

After an early breakfast, embark on the transfer to Ngorongoro Crater 60km about 2 hours’ drive. Upon reaching Ngorongoro, you embark on a thrilling game in the crater that is marked by adequate water and fodder.

The half day drive exposes you to counts of Black Rhinos, wildebeest herds, Buffaloes, Zebras, Elands, Elephants and Hippos.

You also have opportunities of spotting predators including the Hyenas, the jackals, lions, cheetahs along with the elusive leopard.

You retreat from the encounter and transfer back to Arusha 190km about 4 hours’ drive to mark the end of the tour.
