Day 1: Transfer From Arusha to Ngorongoro National Park And Do An Afternoon Crater Tour

From your place of residence in Arusha town or Arusha Airport on early morning arrival, a Tanzania wildlife safari driver guide picks you up for a drive to Ngorongoro crater.

The drive to Ngorongoro crater (Standing as a world heritage site, Ngorongoro locally pronounced as El-Nkoronkoro literally translated as the gift of life) takes you on a 191km about 4 hour’s drive offering impressive views of the countryside.

On arrival, you have lunch and then embark on the afternoon exploration of the famous Ngorongoro Crater.

You take a tour to the crater which is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera that was formed following the eruption of a big volcano that ended up collapsing on itself about 3 million years ago.

On a game drive on the crater floor you have chances of viewing the Maasai lions, elephants, Buffaloes among other wildlife.
