Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP. Make a Stop at Uganda Equator Crossing Kayabwe For Amazing Photo-shoots And Water Experiments And Traditional Lunch at Igongo Cultural Center
After breakfast at your place of stay in Kampala, embark on the transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park 417km about 7 hours’ drive to the south west of Uganda.
You make a stop at Uganda Equator crossing Kayabwe 77km from Kampala to encounter the world’s main latitude crossing dividing the world into two equal parts namely the southern and northern hemispheres.
You can do water experiments that justify this geographic divide and amazing photo – shoots. Continue on the drive before making another stop at Igongo Cultural Center for traditional lunch at the famous Kahwa Kanuzire restaurant.
You can also take an optional tour to the cultural Museum after which you will embark on the drive to Queen Elisabeth NP arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Connect to the rolling Savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth NP stretching to Kasenyi plains where counts of wild game might be encountered including the elephants, Buffaloes, lions, leopards, Kobs, waterbucks, spotted hyenas, jackals among others.

Day 3: Undertake Chimpanzee Trekking in The Valley of Apes And Transfer Back to Kampala
After breakfast, connect to Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee trekking experience. Chimpanzees are close to people along with the Bonobos sharing a considerable percentage of our DNA.
Thus, encountering them is one way of re-uniting with our wild cousins. You trek the chimps in Kyambura gorge with its steep slopes very challenging to hike and marked with impressive tropical forest that thrives below sea level.
The gorge is 100m deep with a river flowing on its bed. The activity tends to last 2 – 5 hours with one hour of direct encounter with the chimps.
The encounter with them as they munch fruit, patrol, mate, socialize and make pant hooting calls derives memorable experience. Retreat from the activity and embark on the transfer to Kampala arriving in the evening.
