Day 1: Highlights of Guateng

After breakfast or if you have a morning arrival flight, you embark on the exploration of Guateng.

The exploration commences at the house of Mohandas Ghandi from 1908 to 1909 after which you proceed to Houghton driving past the residence of Nelson Mandela to Rivonia at Liliesleaf Farm which is a significant part of Madiba history.

From here, you proceed to Rosebank African Art Market for some shopping (if you wish) and lunch.

In the afternoon, you proceed to tour to the Apartheid’s Museum before proceeding to Soweto to explore  a range of historical places including FNB Stadium, the Baragwanath Hospital,the Diepkloof “Matchbox” houses, Walter Sisulu Square aka Freedom Square in Kliptown. The tour proceeds to Hector Pieterson Museum and eventually Vilakazi Street. Retire for dinner and overnight

Day 2:  Transfer From Guateng to Kruger National Park & Do A Sunset Game Drive

After breakfast, embark on the transfer to Kruger National Park driving through impressive landscapes. Upon arrival, you settle for lunch along the banks of Sabi River, relax at the lodge after which you embark on a sun set game drive.

The sun set drive is arranged in the company of the SAN Parks ranger and offers possibilities of exploring a range of wild game including nocturnal species and cats which tend to be very active in the evening. Retire for dinner and overnight

Day 3:  Whole-day Wild Game Exploration in Kruger National Park

This day is dedicated for a whole day game viewing experience. You set out early in the morning, settle for a cup of coffee / tea after which you set off for the game viewing encounter.

The morning game viewing encounter lasts about 3 – 4 hours with possible sights of a range of wild game including; lions, elephants, leopards, white and black Rhinos, Zebra, Warthog, Giraffe, Spotted Hyena, Cheetah, wild dog, Greater Kudu, Eland, Bushbuck, Roan Antelope, Nyala, Sable Antelope, common reedbuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Blue Wildebeest, Tsessebe, Lichtenstein’s Hartebeest,Impala, Klipspringer, Suni, Steenbok, Oribi, Red Duiker, Sharpe’s Grysbok,Bush pig and Common Duiker among other species. You return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.

You take up another game drive in the afternoon for more wild game viewing experience before retiring for evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.

However, instead of taking up an afternoon game drive, you can consider substituting it with exploration to the scenic Panorama route gaining magical views of the God’s window, the Lisbon Falls along with the Three Rondavels.

Day 4:  Transfer From Kruger National Park to Cape Town

You take a very early morning game drive after which you connect to Skukuza Airport to fly to Cape Town.

Upon arriving in Cape town Airport, you will be picked up by our representative to embark on the transfer to the hotel for evening relaxation and overnight

Day 5:  Visit Cape Town & Robben Islands

You embark on the ferry transfer crossing the bay to the historical Robben Island (depending on the weather).

Robben Island is noted to have been a place of imprisonment, banishment and isolation from 17th up to 20th Century.

Apparently, it stands as the World Heritage Site and Museum. Famous people like Nelson Mandela were imprisoned on this very Island.

You return from the Island to embark on the Cape Town tour. The city drive takes you through Bo-Kaap enjoying the beautiful Malay culture including the brightly colored homes and the cobble stoned streets.

The visit takes you to the famous Table Mountains with the possibility of taking up the Cable car if the weather is favorable.

This presents remarkable views of the Cape Town, the Atlantic sea board and the Robben Island.

Day 6: Visit The Cape of Good Hope – Table Mountains National Park

This day you explore to the remarkable headland referred to as the Cape point. This area is marked by magnificent beaches, picturesque and historic coastal villages and impressive scenic views.

The tour takes along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, the Clifton along with the Camps Bay making a stop at Llandudno look-out point before proceeding to Hout Bay.

You can take up an optional Seal Island boat trip. The drive takes you to the Chapman’s Peak which is one of the global most remarkable coastal drives as you proceed to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve featuring the beautiful fynbos vegetation, endemic antelope species and birdlife along with zebra, shipwrecks and historic lighthouses.

The large Penguin colonyat the Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town which is one largest colonies of the very species globally.

Day 7: Visit The Wine Region And Depart

The morning is dedicated for exploration of the Wine region. You follow a scenic drive to the interior of the Cape Wine lands traversing the beautiful mountain ranges,Cape Dutch homesteads and vineyards.

The tour is marked by two wine tastings. Return to the town at 13:30hours and connect to Cape Town Airport in the afternoon for flight departure.
