Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town and Transfer To The Hotel

The 10 Days Safari in South Africa commences with your arrival in the magnificent Cape Town city where you are welcomed by its stimulating natural beauty, the diverse cultures and creative talent.

Upon arrival at the Cape Town Airport, you team up with our representative who will offer you a courteous welcome and briefing about the destination and the safari in particular as you transfer to the hotel for relaxation and overnight

Day 2: Whole-day Exploration Of The Cape Peninsular

After breakfast, you embark on the exploration of the Cape peninsular where the famous Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope can be explored.

The sites to explore include; the Boulders beach with its remarkable Penguin colony, the Hout bay with the possibility of a boat ride to explore the Seal Colony, the Simon’s Town which is a historic Naval base of South Africa on the False bay shores, the Fynobos Vegetation which is a section of the Cape Floral Region – a World Heritage Site, the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden positioned on Table Mountain’s Eastern Slopes.

The other interesting features include scenic drive through the Peninsula exploring its craggy peaks, rugged coast, abundant bio-diversity, sea side villages and towns with great maritime culture and history.

Day 3: Tour The Robben Island And The Cape Town

You embark on the ferry transfer crossing the bay to the historical Robben Island (depending on the weather). Robben Island is noted to have been a place of imprisonment, banishment and isolation from 17th up to 20th Century.

Apparently, it stands as the World Heritage Site and Museum. Famous people like Nelson Mandela were imprisoned on this very Island.

You return from the Island to embark on the Cape Town tour. The city drive takes you through Bo-Kaap enjoying the beautiful Malay culture including the brightly colored homes and the cobble stoned streets.

The visit takes you to the famous Table Mountains with the possibility of taking up the Cable car if the weather is favorable.

This presents remarkable views of the Cape Town, the Atlantic sea board and the Robben Island. Day 4: Whole-day Tour Of The Wineland Tour And The Franschoek

After breakfast, you immerse yourself in a day long exploration of the Cape Wine lands.  This region of Cape Town is amazing and an expanse wonder worth exploring.

The remarkable Cape Dutch manors, beautiful villages, rolling valleys and the extensive grape vines some of which date back to 100 years past forming base for South Africa’s name as the prime wine producer in Africa.

The wine region features remarkable fertile soils in the areas of Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek where a range of world class red, white and fortified wines are produced.

The tour highlights include the tour to Stellenbosch famous for its tree lined streets, al fresco cafés, historical architecture and remarkable shopping, Franschhoek Valley re-known as South Africa’s wine and food heartland engulfed by extensive mountain vistas, the Paarl the ancient home to the Afrikaans language, the Boschendal Manor House featuring the ancient Dutch architecture dating back to early 1800’s, Wine tasting at some of the top wine land estates in Cape town and eventually an educative Wine Cellar Tour.

Day 5: Transfer By Flight From Cape to Durban – Zululand

After a relaxed breakfast, you embark on the transfer to Cape Town to catch up with a flight from Cape Town Airport to Durban – the Kwa-Zulu Natal’s largest city.

The Durban area features a rather warm tropical climate and beautiful vegetation overlooking expanse Ocean beaches and sea sort resorts. The famous Zulu history and culture is another wonder in this region of South Africa.

Day 6: Spend The Day Exploring Isibindi Game Reserve

This day is dedicated for you relaxation and exploration of the Isibindi Game Reserve. The Isibindi Eco Reserve stretches to 4,000 acres with diverse habitats including valley thornveld, montane grassland and riverine forests.

The wild game include; Giraffe, Zebra,Wildebeest among others.  You proceed to explore the Anglo-Zulu battlefields of Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift.

These are historical wars that were fought between the British imperialists and the then Independent Kingdom of Zulu.

The evening is marked by the Zulu dinner Bomacommencing at the sun set following a beat of drums to the Zulu village enjoying their cultural performances for the rest of the evening

Day 7:  Transfer From Isibindi to Hluhluwe Game Reserve

After breakfast, you embark on the drive to the Hluhluwe Game Reserve in the northern hills the famous of Zululand.

The reserve which was gazetted in the late 1800’s is noted to be the oldest on the continent of Africa. Spend the afternoon at leisure.

Day 8:  Whole-day Wild Game Viewing Experience At Hluhluwe Game Reserve

After breakfast, you embark on the wild game exploration in Hluhluwe Game Reserve. The reserve stretches to 96,000 hectares marked by rolling hills providing shelter to numerous birds and wild game including the white Rhino along with other members of the Big five.

Day 9:  Transfer From Hluhluwe Game Reserve to Thonga Beach Lodge
