Day 1: Transfer From Windhoek to Okonjima / Africat & Explore The Africat Foundation

After breakfast at your place of stay in Windhoek at 8 am, you set off to the north of the country making stops in the en route small towns including Okahandja – the largest wood carving market in Namibia where souvenirs can be purchased.

You arrive at Okonjima in the early afternoon for relaxation and lunch. The afternoon is dedicated to touring the place.

The place is a center of the Africat Foundation which has special interest in African Big cats especially Cheetah.

The afternoon tour involves a close up with the wild game especially cheetah that are undergoing rehabilitation at the center.

The animals at the centre are victims of traps or they are orphans and the sole interest is to organise them and then re-introduce them back to the wild.

Day 2: Transfer to Etosha National Park And Do An Afternoon Game Drive

After an early breakfast, you proceed on the drive to the north of Namibia to the famous Etosha National Park driving through small towns as you make stops for fuel and fresh supplies.

You arrive in the park at the time for lunch and relaxation before undertaking an evening game drive to explore the beautiful stretches of Etosha at the sunset including the wild game-like elephants which gathering round the water holes.

Day 3: Explore The Extensive Wilderness of Etosha National Park

This is dedicated to the intense exploration of Namibia’s premier park – the Etosha National Park.

The day tour exposes you to the famous Etosha Salt Pan which covers 23% of the park stretching to 5,000 km2.

The encounter also offers wildlife viewing possibilities including counts of African Bush elephants, Angolan Giraffes, Southern White Rhinos, Southwest African Lion, South African Cheetahs, African leopard, Black-footed cats, Black-backed jackals, Cape fox, Brown and spotted Hyena, Aardwolf, Plains Zebra, common warthog, Black-faced Impala, Gemsbok,  Greater Kudu, Plains and Mountain Zebra. Day 4: Transfer To The Grootberg Area & Visit Himba Village

After breakfast, you embark on the drive to Grootberg. Upon arrival, you undertake the tour of the Himba Village noted to be the single functioning traditional Himba Community outside the Namibia’s far north Kaokoland region.

The featured tribes have migrated here and their customs and lifestyle are still intact. You learn into their marriage practices, food preparation methods and the Holy Fire religion mystery.

Day 5: Drive From Grootberg Area to Twyfelfontein in The Damara Land

After breakfast, you transfer from the Grootberg area to Twyfelfontein in Damara Land about 190km traversing the westwards through the Grootberg Pass before taking a detour to explore the Bushman engravings of rock at Twyfelfontein. The guided walk around the site is very rewarding before settling for overnight

Day 6: Explore the Damara Land And Transfer to Skeleton Coast in The Afternoon

You transfer to Skeleton Coast National Park 420km entering into the deep layers of the desert enjoying the view of Mount Brandberg standing as the highest Mountain in Namibia at 2,573m above sea level and the amazing scenery of Damara Land.

The stop will be made at is a historical small mining town which is among the few locations where precious stones can be secured.

A visit to the world’s largest seal colony at Cape Cross is also rewarding to explore. You eventually arrive at Swakopmund in the late afternoon and a town walk in the evening can be exciting as well.

Day 7: Explore The Skeleton Coast National Park And Then Transfer Back to Windhoek

Spend the morning exploring the beach landscapes of Atlantic Ocean, the urban touch of Swakopmund town including some shopping at its open air curio market and other shops not forgetting a visit to the National Marine Aquarium of Namibia.

Besides these activities; you can opt to undertake a flying safari to explore the ecologically sensitive areas of Skeleton Coast National Park.

In the afternoon, you embark on the transfer back to Windhoek 350km.
