Day 2: Drive to Arusha National Park, Do Game Drive & A Forest Walk On The Slopes of Mount Meru

You connect to Arusha National Park after breakfast for a wildlife viewing experience in this protected area that lies in between Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.

The Park was a site for the shooting of the Hollywood action film Hatari by Hardy Kruger and John Wayne.

You visit the Stone town – the main capital of Zanzibar presenting an opportunity to explore the historical sights of Zanzibar among which include the Makusurani graveyard the notable burial site for the Arab rulers; the House of Wonders- a four level building noted to be the first of its stature on the Island with electric lights.

The Persian Public baths of Hamamni and Kidichi noted to be the first on the Island. The other sites include the Dunga Ruins – the palace ruins constructed by the rulers of the time along with Peace Museum that details the long history of Zanzibar.

The two days offer you a relaxed exploration of Zanzibar and ultimate recreation and relaxation. You visit the Spice and Coconut farms on the Island.

The seaweed and salt farms can also be explored on request.
