Arrive in Ethiopia – Bole International airport, meet our representative after which you drive to the hotel.

Day 2: Take a Flight to Bahirdar by ET126 at 07:50hr, Enjoy Lake Tana Boat Trip & Explore The Blue Nile Falls in The Afternoon

Connect to Bole International Airport and take a flight to Bahirdar by ET126 at 07:50hr. You will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check-in and later take up the boat trip on Lake Tana to explore its Island monasteries along with their valuable treasures such as biblical wall paintings, ancient illuminated parchment books, crowns of different Ethiopian Kings, superb crosses among others.

In the afternoon, tour the scenic Blue Nile Falls – a 400m wide when it’s fully flooded especially in the months of June, July and August to mid-September.

In Axum, you tour the famous stele park with its huge monolithic obelisks, ancient stone inscriptions, the ruined palace of the Queen of Sheba, the ruined palace of king Kaleb and his son, the church of St. Mary of Zion which is believed to house the Original Ark of the covenant, the subterranean tombs of different Axumite kings among others.
