Day 1 of the 8 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari and Zanzibar Recreational Tour: Arrive in Tanzania – Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Arusha for overnight

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are welcomed by the driver guide who will brief you about the destination and the safari in particular before transferring to Arusha town. Positioned on the foot hills of Mount Meru on the eastern border of the East African rift valley, the town of Arusha features a temperate climate. The city is near major tourist destinations including Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge, Mount Kilimanjaro, Tarangire National Park and Arusha National Park on Mount Meru. Day 2 of the 8 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari and Zanzibar Recreational Tour: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, do game drive & proceed to Ngorongoro Crater in the afternoon

Following an early breakfast at the lodge, you embark on the drive to Lake Manyara National Park for an extensive game drive and picnic lunch. Lake Manyara is positioned on the rift valley floor and stands as one of Africa’s beautiful places surrounded by verdant green vegetation featuring ground water forest with tall trees that present ideal habitat for range of blue monkeys and baboons. At the far areas, the forest gives way to the extensive swamps, savannah grassland and woodland. The Lake is home to 350 bird species among which include the pelican, flamingo, sacred ibis, Marabou stork and grebe. The hot springs to the southern sector of the park are impressive for exploration. Lake Manyara National Park features counts of Buffalo, Giraffe, Elephant, Hippo and Impala along with the unique tree climbing lions. Drive to Ngorongoro Crater in the afternoon for relaxation, dinner and overnight

Day 3 of the 8 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari and Zanzibar Recreational Tour: Do Wild game viewing in Ngorongoro Crater and transfer to Serengeti National Park in the afternoon

You set out the crater floor after breakfast for an extensive game drive exploring a range of wild game amidst magical scenic landscapes. The counts of about 30,000 animals are noted to be thriving in the Ngorongoro crater including the Big five. You explore the world’s largest unbroken Caldera that is bordered by steep walls that tower to 610m from the crater floor covering 259 sq. Kms in size and recorded among the Wonders of the Natural World. From the picnic lunch on the crater floor, you embark on the drive to Serengeti National Park ranked as the best park in Africa stretching to 14,000km² with enormous populations of big cats like Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Hyenas, Wild cats, among others.

Day 4 of the 8 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari and Zanzibar Recreational Tour: Whole day wildlife exploration in Serengeti National Park

Here, you have an option of exploring the magical wild game both in Air and on Land. The Hot Air Balloon is still a unique way of having an Arial view of the magical wild game and their habitats. It is very impressive to float silently on top of the awakening bush and open savannah dotted with myriad of wild game, flowing rivers and the villages below. .   Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement). Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over numerous small villages. For land drive, you embark on the drive following the Sogore River Circuit that traverses the south of River Seronera with possibilities of viewing lions, the Topi, Thomson gazelle, cheetah, topi ostrich. You can reach at the visitor center which features a nice gift shop, shop with cold drinks & snacks, maps of the area, information trail and picnic site and can be explored after the game drive. The picnic lunch in the shade of the gigantic acacia trees is thrilling. You embark on the afternoon game drive following the Kopje Circuit that goes anti-clockwise around the Masaai Kopjes that pull counts of lions and huge Cobras. The Kopjes appear as weathered granite outcrops which are scattered in the plains mostly in miniature ecosystems with pools of water that provide drinking water which makes them ideal for wildlife viewing in the dry season. Day 5 of the 8 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari and Zanzibar Recreational Tour: Game drive in the Seronera Area & Fly from Sernora Airstrip to Zanzibar

Following breakfast at your lodge, you undertake a game drive in the Seronera Area for more wildlife views as you connect to Seronera Airstrip to catch up with the flight to the destination Zanzibar in the middle of Indian Ocean. You are picked up from Zanzibar Airport and drive to the north coast where the Nungwi beach is located. The famous Swahili Culture was initiated in this area in the 17^th Century while the stone town presents an authentic feel of Zanzibar. The old coral stone buildings, the houses of the ancient traders some with Arabic Quran Inscriptions, the small alleyways with covered balconies, tiny stalls and impressive shops, fish and spice market along with the sights and sounds emanating from wonderful shops and tiny stalls, spice and fish market, and in the evening sounds and smells Forodhani Gardens where the lobster and fish barbeque is made combine to generate exciting experience. Also known as the Spice Islands, Zanzibar presents a guided tour to the range of plantations and spice farms can be arranged as well.

Day 6 – 7 of the 8 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari and Zanzibar Recreational Tour: Beach Experience in Zanzibar

These two days are designed to enable you have a detailed recreational experience in Zanzibar. There are a range of magical sights that are worth exploring in Zanzibar. The Stone town is a world heritage site itself and shelters counts of cultural and historical sites among which include the Makusurani graveyard where Arab rulers that initially ruled over the Island were buried. The town also features the House of Wonders which is a four story building which is noted to be the first of its kind on the Island with electric lights. The Hamamni and Kidichi Persian Baths – the notable Island’s first public baths, the Dunga Ruins which are noted to be the ruins of the palace constructed in 15^th Century by the then rulers along with the Peace Memorial Museum that details the long history of Zanzibar. Zanzibar presents remarkable beach experience as it features an extensive beach landscape and the open water mass of Indian Ocean. The coral along with limestone scarps presents considerable counts of snorkelling and diving. This is done in the marine parks and the aquatic species like moray eels, dolphins, lion fish, lobster and octopus can be explored. The activities like dhow cruising on the minor Islands are all available at your disposal. The Jozani forest and Kidike Root Site feature an impressive forested landscape on the Island where impressive walks can be carried out. Over 40 bird species along with 50 butte fly species exist. The endangered Pemba Flying Fox thrive in Kidike root site.
